WASHINGTON – For the first time this season, the Catholic University men's soccer team has earned a national ranking, breaking the top-25, entering in an No. 24 in the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III National Poll.
Since earning their first Mid-Atlantic ranking on October 15, the Cardinals have steadily risen in each of the past four weeks, including moving up one spot to No. 3 in the region in this week's edition.
The Cardinals (12-4-2) had a 12-3-2 record when the voting took place, for games through Sunday, Nov. 3. In the past week, CUA defeated Scranton 1-0 on Saturday, Nov. 2 and clinched the No. 1 seed in the Landmark Conference Tournament with the win.
