All-CAC teams announced
YORK, Pa.--- The Salisbury University Sea Gulls, the 2002 men's
soccer tournament champions, placed six players on the 2002 All-CAC
squad.
St. Mary's received two of the individual awards as junior Alun Oliver was named the conference's Player-of-the-Year while his head coach, Herb Gainey, was selected as the league's Coach-of-the-Year.
York College's Scott McDowell was selected as the CAC Rookie-of-the-Year.
Salisbury earned the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament with their shootout victory over Mary Washington in the CAC title game. The CAC had three men's soccer teams win at least 13 matches during the 2002 season.
