Duffy Earns Athlete of the Week Honors
Freshman leads CUA to 2-0 for the week

WASHINGTON - Kevin Duffy (Marlton, N.J./Bishop Eustace) has been named the Landmark Conference Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week for his efforts over the past seven days.  Duffy helped Catholic University (5-5, 1-1 Landmark)  to a 2-0 week including their first conference win.

Duffy had a goal and an assist against Gallaudet on Thursday the Cards ended up defeating the Bison 9-0.  On Saturday CUA hosted its first Landmark Conference game and beat Juniata 2-1 to improve to 1-1 in conference play.  Duffy posted the game winning goal against the Eagles hitting a cross from the left side.   For the season Duffy is third on the squad in both goals and points with three and seven respectively.

The Cardinals will have the week off before traveling to Scranton on Saturday for a contest against the Royals at 3:30 p.m.
