Brady named All-Region by NSCAA

KANSAS CITY, Kansas- Junior Matt Brady (Woodbridge, Va./Potomac) was named to the 2008 All South Region Third Team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Also a first team All-Landmark Conference choice this year, Brady, was named to the third team and is the first all-region player since Todd Magin was named to the third team in 2001.  Brady finished the 2008 campaign with 14 goals, and seven assists for 35 points, including seven game winners.

In his three years at CUA, Brady has been a key factor in the program's turnaround.  With a 3-11-3 record as a freshman, Brady was named Capital Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year.  In 2007 the team finished 6-10 before finishing 14-6 in 2008.  Brady led the team in points all three seasons.

Brady also excels in the class room as a civil engineering major, he has earned a spot on the 2008 Landmark All-Academic Team.
