Brady Named First Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region
WASHINGTON-- The post-season awards keep coming for the Catholic University Men’s Soccer team as Sr. Matt Brady was named to the 2009 NSCAA Men's NCAA Division III All-Mid-Atlantic Region First Team.
In his final season, Brady led the Cardinals to their first NCAA tournament appearance in school history. He started nearly every game this season, missing five midseason games due to injury. Brady was an offensive force all season, leading the Landmark Conference in goals with 12, points per game with a 0.74 average, shots with 74, and shots per game with 4.62.
At the end of the season, Brady placed in the top fifty in the country in points per game and goals per game. By being selected for the first team All-Region, he is eligible for the All-American team which will be released later this month.
