DiMarco named to ESPN Academic All-District Team
WASHINGTON – CUA junior Mike DiMarco has been named to the
2010 ESPN Academic All-District second-team, it was announced on
Monday. DiMarco carries a 3.82 grade point average as an
accounting major and is one of the major reasons for CUA’s
success the last three seasons.
DiMarco has appeared in all 18 games for the Cardinals this season, starting 16, and scored one goal to go along with four assists in that time. He has taken ten shots on the year and is one of one on penalty kicks.
Off the field, DiMarco is a member of the CUA accounting society and he is the co-founder and co-president of the CUA committee to improve the accounting curriculum.
In addition, DiMarco is the founder and vice president of the student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC), a tutor for the office of academic success and a member of Phi Eta Sigma honor society.
DiMarco is a multi-year member of the Dean’s List and is enrolled in the CUA honors program.
DiMarco and the Cardinals, who are currently in the midst of a nine-match unbeaten streak, will return to action on Wednesday November 3 when they travel to take on the Susquehanna Crusaders in the semifinals of the Landmark Conference Tournament.
