Mike Corrigan returns to Catholic University for his tenth
season with the Cardinals, and his first as the Associate Head
Coach. Corrigan was a standout midfielder for CUA earning captain,
team MVP and Harris Cup honors his senior season. He tallied
four goals and 13 assists over his career. At the time
of his graduation, Corrigan's class was CUA’s all time
winningest group, and he held the men’s soccer record for
all-time minutes played. He received a bachelor’s degree in
electrical engineering in May of 2003 from Catholic University and
holds two masters degrees, an MBA and an MS in Technology
Management from the University of Maryland.
Corrigan graduated from James M. Bennett High School in Salisbury,
Md., where he was an all-conference performer his junior and senior
years in soccer and captained the soccer and basketball teams. He
also played on the MD East Region ODP team. When he is not
coaching, he works at Northrop Grumman. Prior to taking his
position at CUA, Corrigan worked at a number of soccer camps all
over the east coast, including University of Hartford Soccer Camp,
Southern Connecticut Soccer School and the Rumsey Hall Soccer
Academy.
Corrigan assists in all aspects of the program. He resides in
Silver Spring, Md. with his wife Christine Corrigan, formerly
Thornton, a 2005 graduate of Catholic University and the first ever
women’s lacrosse All-American.
