Erik Wyche is in his fifth season as a part of the Catholic University coaching staff. He played four years at CUA as a defender/midfielder and was captain of the team during his senior season as well as being nominated for the prestigious Harris Cup award. Wyche graduated in 2007 with an undergraduate degree in architecture and received his master's degree in architecture in 2009.

Wyche graduated from Cherokee High School in Marlton, N.J., where he won a New Jersey Group IV State Championship in 2001. Wyche was also an all-conference and All-South Jersey performer in both his junior and senior seasons and served as the defensive captain his final year, while playing club for the Medford Strikers.

Outside of Catholic University, Wyche works as an architectural intern for the design firm OPX, located in the heart of Washington, D.C. He also volunteers for Street Soccer USA, an organization that teaches the homeless about the game of soccer.

He currently resides in Silver Spring, Md.
