Peters picks up two wins as Cardinals take on Malone

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – CUA dropped a 7-2 decision to Division II Malone on Monday morning, sending the Cards to their first loss of spring break. Joe Peters earned CUA's lone singles win of the day, while Peters and Kyle Kramer picked up a victory at 2nd doubles.

Peters downed Steffan Dwarkasingh 6-3, 7-6 at 5th singles for CUA's only singles point of the day.

Brian Bradley dropped a tough 7-6, 6-2 decision to Youssef ElSonbaty at 1st singles, while Kyle Kramer was upended by Nate Davis 6-2, 6-3 at the 2nd flight.

Quisberth fell to Vladyslav Dyenyezhka 6-2, 7-5 at 3rd singles, and Schuyler Hayward lost to Alex Stenmetz 6-2, 6-3 at the 4th flight.

At 6th singles, Joe Trinity was upended by Andrew Hill 6-4, 6-2.

Kramer and Peters downed Hill and Brett Krejci 8-4 at 2nd doubles, but Bradley and Quisberth fell 8-2 at the 1st flight, and Hayward and Trinity were upended 8-5 at 3rd doubles.

On Tuesday, CUA will face Lebanon Valley at 8 a.m.
