Cardinals selected third in Landmark Conference preseason poll

WASHINGTON – CUA has been voted third in this year’s Landmark Conference preseason poll, it was announced on Wednesday. In the fall of 2012, the Cardinals went 3-2 with one loss to DI Loyola and are returning seven of their players including All-Landmark Conference honorees Brian Bradley, Cassian Utrie, and Jason Quisberth.

Drew took the top spot in the preseason poll after garnering 70 points with Scranton coming in second with 52. CUA is next with 38 followed by Juniata (28), Susquehanna (25), Moravian (23), Goucher (12), and Merchant Marine (8)

CUA opens its 2012 spring schedule on Sunday, March 3 when the Cardinals take on Alvernia in Hilton Head, S.C.  Start time is set for 6:30 p.m.
