WASHINGTON – CUA men's tennis student-athlete Brian Bradley earned two wins as the No. 2 singles player and two wins as the No. 1 doubles player with Juan Lorido during the team's weeklong competition in Hilton Head, S.C.
The Cards took on four opponents during the week and dropped every match; Baldwin Wallace (6-3), Gettysburg (5-4), Wooster (6-2) and Albion (9-0).
During the Baldwin Wallace match, Lorido defeated his opponent 6-3, 6-2 and Bradley came back from a set one loss to conquer his No. 2 slot foe 1-6, 6-4, 10-8.
Joe Trinity and Alhagbani Adulrhman earned a No. 3 doubles win with a score of 8-6 against Gettysburg.
CUA attained two wins during their lost to Wooster. Bradley overpowered his No. 2 opponent 2-6, 7-6 (12-10), 10-3. Bradley and Lorido walked away with their second win during doubles play with an 8-6 victory.
The Cards take on Landmark Conference foes Juniata on Saturday, March 15 on the CUA Tennis Courts.
