Men’s Tennis Conquers Moravian 8-1

WASHINGTON – With an 8-1 win over Moravian, the Catholic University of America men's tennis team advanced to 2-1 in the Landmark Conference.

The Cardinals swept the Greyhounds in singles action by not dropping a single decision.
 

1. Juan Lorido defeated Matt Tuorto (MOR) 6-0, 6-1

2. Brian Bradley defeated John Wylie (MOR) 6-1, 7-6 (2-0)

3. Cassian Utrie defeated Lewis Cooper (MOR) 6-0, 6-3

4. Joe Peters defeated Mike Antonis (MOR) 4-6, 6-4, 13-11

5. Jason Quisberth defeated Giovanni Lombardi (MOR) 2-6, 6-0, 10-8

6. Rocky Alaqbani defeated Dan Schmucker (MOR) 6-2, 6-3

 

No. 1 doubles team Juan Lorido and Cassian Utrie conquered Moravian's John Wylie and Matt Tuorto 8-1, as the No. 3 doubles team Brian Bradley and Rocy Alaqbani beat C.J. Widdifield and Giovanni Lombardi 8-1.
