Valverde Remains Undefeated within the Conference Despite the Cardinals Loss to Drew University

MADISON NJ- The Cardinals match at Drew University on April 18 had one great moment. Freshman Daniel Valverde defeated Raul Smego 3-6, 6-3, (11-9) to remain undefeated in Conference play (4-0) at the No. 1 position.

Joe Gribbin at No. 4, lost a hard fought match, 7-5, 6-0 and freshman Kyle Kramer came back against Drew’s No. 6 only to lose 6-1, 7-5.

CUA (8-8) plays Goucher College on Wednesday at 3:15 pm.
