Cardinals Fall in Championship Match
The Catholic University men’s tennis team (11-6) dropped a tough 8-1 decision to the Drew University Rangers (11-6) Saturday in the Landmark Conference Championship. Dillon and Kracht Earn All-Landmark Honors
The Catholic University of America men’s tennis squad had two players named to the All-Landmark Conference team the league announced Wednesday. Senior Andrew Kracht (Sellersville, Pa./Pennridge) was given the nod to the first team while his classmate John Dillon (River Forest, Ill./Fenwick) earned second team honors. CUA Advances to Men’s Tennis Championship
The second seeded Catholic University men’s tennis team held on to defeat the University of Scranton Royals (11-7-1) 6-3 on Wednesday in the Landmark Conference semifinal. The third seeded Royals took the first two matches of the day but the Cards came roaring back to pick up the next six out of seven. CUA is now 11-5 on the season. [MORE]

CUA Earns #2 Seed in Landmark Tournament
The Catholic University men’s tennis team stayed on its five-game win streak Saturday with a 9-0 victory over the United States Merchant Marine Academy Mariners (1-14, 0-7 Landmark). With the win the Cardinals improve to 10-5 and 6-1 in the Landmark Conference. CUA has earned the #2 seed in the conference tournament with its only loss coming at the hands of the Drew University Rangers. [MORE]
