Men's Tennis and Women's Soccer Supports Special Olympics An overcast and occasionally drizzly morning did nothing to dampen spirits and the outstanding performances of over 200 athletes at the Special Olympics Track and Field Qualifying meet held Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Archbishop Carroll High School as CUA's men's tennis team was on hand to run several of the field competitions and to assist with all the track events. The CUA men's tennis team won its last four matches, including three conference opponents (Goucher, Susquehanna, and Merchant Marine) to finish the season on an up note, 8-9 overall. [MORE]

The Catholic University Mens Tennis team have gone 3-2 in the month of April so far after getting off to a slow start. More recently they beat both Lancaster Bible College on Friday, April 17th and Susquehanna University on Saturday, April 18th by a count of 9-0, 8-1, respectively. The 8-1 victory against Susquehanna marked Senior Day for one Cardinal, Luigi Alvarado (Lima/Peru) and moves the Red and Black to 7-9 overall and 2-4 in Landmark play this season. [MORE]
