Brubaker named to All-Landmark Conference Team

WASHINGTON – Senior Shawn Brubaker was named to the All-Landmark Conference Second Team on Wednesday. The Lancaster, Pa., native earned a 2nd place finish in the weight throw this past weekend at the conference championship.

Brubaker’s throw of 49’ 2.25” was good for second in the weight throw. He also placed 11th in the shot put (38’ 3.5”).

Brubaker also earned All-Conference recognition in February of 2012 for his 2nd place finish in the weight throw.

The Cardinals return to action on March 22 when they begin their 2013 outdoor season at the Battleground Relays in Fredericksburg, Va. Start time is set for 2:30 p.m.
