Doster and Stengle Compete at ECAC Championship
Doster finishes fourth in 400 hurdles
ONEONTA, N.Y.- Two Cardinals competed at the East Coast Athletic Conference Championships last weekend and both put together a strong showing at the event.
Sophomore Mike Doster took fourth in the 400 meter hurdles running a 54.36. He was just two tenths of a second away from provisionally qualifying for the NCAA Championships. Doster started the race slow but came on at the end from far behind to get the fourth place finish.
Senior thrower Kim Stengle also competed participating in three events. Her best finish was sixth in the discus throwing a 120-01. Stengle was also seventh in the javelin with a 111-08 and tenth in the hammer tossing a 140-06.
The meet marked the end of the season for Catholic University track and field as well as the entire athletic department.
