Landmark Conference announces men's indoor track poll

WASHINGTON – The Landmark Conference announced its 2010-11 men’s indoor track and field preseason poll on Thursday and CUA was pegged to finish fifth as the Cardinals received 16 points.  Moravian College sits atop the poll with 47 points.

CUA placed fifth at last season’s indoor championships, held on the campus of Susquehanna.  The Cardinals totaled 24 points, while Moravian captured the team crown with 215 points.

Following Moravian in the poll are Susquehanna with 44 points, Goucher and Juniata, who tied for third with 30 points, CUA (16), and Merchant Marine Academy (13).

The Cardinals don’t begin their indoor season until January 23 when they compete at the Susquehanna Orange and Maroon Classic in Pennsylvania.
