Landmark Conference announces men's cross country poll

WASHINGTON – The Landmark Conference announced its men’s cross country preseason poll on Friday and the Cardinals were selected eighth with 17 points.  Four-time defending champion Susquehanna sits atop the poll with 82 points.

Following Susquehanna in the poll is Moravian with 67 points and Scranton and Juniata with 61 points apiece.  Goucher (42), USMMA (35), Drew (21) and CUA (17) round out the poll.

The Cardinals did not have any seniors on their roster in 2010 and will be led by Mike Puskar, who placed in the top-30 at the Landmark Conference championship last season.

CUA will begin its 2011 season on Saturday, September 10 when the Cardinals travel to Pennsylvania to compete at the Albright Invitational.  Action gets underway beginning at 10 a.m.
