Cardinals finish first in season opener

READING, Pa. – The CUA men's cross country team opened its 2011 season on Saturday as the Cardinals posted a first place finish at the Albright College Invitational.  CUA totaled 35 points led by Michael Puskar who finished second with a time of 29:02.

Other Cardinal runners that posted top-25 finishes on Saturday included Dylan Jones (29:49), George Brewer (31:03), Kian Olia (31:27), Alex Duponte (32:48), Michael Spielberger (32:59), and Kyle McKenna (33:00).

CUA will return to the trail on September 17 when the Cardinals travel to compete in the UMES Invitational.  Action gets underway at 10:30a.m.
