Cardinals have strong showing at the Paul Short Run

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – CUA placed 21st in the 36-team Paul Short Run, which was held on the campus of Lehigh University, on Friday. Freshman Matthias Arauco-Shapiro, was the Cardinals top finisher with a time of 27:54, which placed him in 50th place. Joining Arauco-Shapiro in the top-100 was Michael Wood, who placed 77th with a time of 28:19.

Other Cardinals that raced were Mike Spielberger, who crossed in 112th place in a time of 29:09, Chris Derks (168), John Brewer (178), Joe Quigley (233), Kyle McKenna (198), Dylan Gallagher (246), and Kyle Loomie (293).

Ramapo College, with 107 points, captured the team crown, followed by the University of Mary Washington (125), and Rochester Institute of Technology (149).

CUA returns to action on Saturday, October 13 when the Cardinals travel to the Gettysburg Invitational.  The race is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
