Men’s Cross Country Finishes 16th at NCAA Southeast Regionals

Kernstown, Va. – The Catholic University of America men's cross country team ended the season strong with a 16th-overall finish at the 2015 NCAA Division III Southeast Regionals, hosted by Shenandoah on Saturday morning. 

Sophomore Patrick Jones led the charge for Catholic, finishing 67th overall with a time of 28:12.5. Jones' went for a 5:40.4 pace for one the best races of his young career.

Senior stalwart John Brewer also added a top-90 finish in the field of 203, crossing the finish line in 28:47.7 at a 5:47.6 pace.

Rookie runner Kevin Kuchler also added a top-100 performance in the 8K Championship, finishing in 28:52 flat; good for a 5:48.5 average mile.
