Men’s Cross Country Races at Gettysburg Invitational

WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America men's cross country team was in action on Saturday at the 28th annual Gettysburg Invitational. The Cardinals finished 15th overall, competing against 26 other teams.

Junior Patrick Jones led the way and finished 44th overall with a time of 27:33.1

Catholic also boasted two other top-100 finishes in the field of 171 competitors. Sophomore Kevin Kuchler and rookie Joseph LaPointe each posted sub 29-minute times.

Kuchler placed 71st with a time of 28:15.0 while LaPointe finished 80th at 28:52.7.

This was the Cardinals final tuneup before the Landmark Conference Championships in Bethlehem, Pa., on Saturday, October 29.
