Audette wins CAC championship
TOWSON, Md. - Sophomore Michael Audette (Rutland,
Vt./Rutland) won the CAC Cross Country Championships
hosted by Goucher College with a time of 27:32.55. His effort also
earned him the 2001 CAC Runner of the Year and cemented a spot on
the All-CAC First Team.
Teammates senior Matthew McHugh (Sylvania, Ohio/St. Frances de Sales) and freshman Kevin Slattery (Red Bank, N.J./Red Bank Catholic) finished 12th and 13th, respectively, and earned All-CAC Second Team honors.
Mary Washington was the overall team winner finishing with 32 points. Salisbury was second with 39 and CUA was third with 75 points.
