Men's Cross Country Finishes Third at First Ever CUA Invitational


WASHINGTON--Finishing with 60 points, the CUA men's cross country team came in third place at the first cross country meet held by CUA in more than 10 years.

Andrew Smith finished second overall with a time of 28:44.90 as the Cardinals placed three runners in the top 20.  Kris Reynolds and Geogre Brewer finished seventh and seventeenth, respectively.

CUA, which will host the Landmark Conference Championship on Oct. 31, hosted its first cross country meet in more than 10 years today on the grounds of the US Armed Forces Retirement Home campus.

The Cardinals will return to action next Saturday, Oct. 10 at Laurel, Md.
