CUA competes at 2010 Landmark Conference championships
TOWSON, Md. – CUA competed at the Landmark Conference
championship on Saturday and was led by Michael Puskar’s 26th
place finish as he crossed in 28:53.70. As a team the
Cardinals scored 199 points and finished eighth.
Along with Puskar, also scoring for CUA were George Brewer in 37th
place (29:27.10), Kyle McKenna in 53rd place (30:12.90), Kian Olia
in 66th place (30:58.70), Michael Kennedy in 68th (31:09.50), Joe
Quigley in 70th (31:32.60), and Chris Derks in 76th (32:21.90).
Rounding out the CUA contingent were Joe Kenny (80), Henry Szupica
(84), Ryan Anderson (85), and Joe Funk (86).
Susquehanna won the team crown with 38 points and was followed by
Juniata (61), Moravian (70), Scranton (100), Goucher (143),
Merchant Marine Academy (165), Drew (196) and CUA.
Moravian’s Matt Lutcza was the individual champion as he
crossed in a time of 26:46.40.
CUA will return to action on November 14 when the Cardinals travel
to Memphis, Tenn., to compete at the NCAA Regional
championship. Action begins at 11:00 AM.
