WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America softball team was honored with three selections to the All-Landmark Conference teams as announced by the league office on Wednesday.
Adams, the team's third baseman, is now a three-time All-Landmark as she was a first-team selection last season and a second-teamer as a sophomore. Adams hit .339 this season with a 27 RBI, five doubles and three triples.
Keleti, who has enjoyed a career year, earns her first all-conference honor. The second baseman leads the Cardinals and ranks sixth in the Landmark with a .392 batting average. One of the fastest players in league, she paces the conference with 31 runs and 16 stolen bases.
Marks overcame an early-season injury to .385 in Landmark games and settled in as the team's leadoff hitter. In just nine conference games, the right fielder totaled 10 hits, six runs, three doubles, four walks, two RBI and a stolen base.
Catholic, the No. 3 seed in the Landmark Conference Tournament, begins the playoffs this Friday at Moravian against No. 2 Susquehanna.
