Megan Rizzi Earns Landmark Conference Player of the Week Honors
WASHINGTON-- After going 15-26 (.577) for the week, Megan Rizzi (Mont Vernon/Souhegan High School) earned Landmark Conference Player of the Week honors.
Rizzi is now batting .451 for the season and has a team high 26 RBIs, 14 doubles, two triples, and three home runs. Her 68 total bases and .747 slugging percentage leads the team for regulars. She is also 5-5 on stolen base attempts.
The CUA softball team will look to continue its success deep into the Landmark Playoffs, but will face Dickinson and Juniata on the road before returning to Washington D.C. for a final homestand against Hood on Sunday, April 26th.
