ECAC names Rizzi Division III South POW
WASHINGTON – One day after being named the Landmark
Conference Player of the Week, CUA’s Megan Rizzi earned ECAC
South Player of the Week distinction on Tuesday. Rizzi
totaled 15 hits in nine games last week for the Cardinals during
their annual spring break trip.
Rizzi batted .536 to go along with a slugging percentage of .821
while in Florida. She posted six games with multiple hits and
recorded an on base percentage of .606. In addition Rizzi
drove in ten runs.
In the field Rizzi was equally as impressive, totaling 18 putouts
and 19 assists.

Rizzi and the Cardinals return to action on Sunday, March 20 with
a doubleheader at Randolph-Macon. The first pitch of game one
is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
