Softball home opener pushed back until May 1

WASHINGTON – CUA’s home opener, scheduled for Sunday, March 27, has been pushed back due to the threat of inclement weather.  The Cardinals were set to host No. 16 Salisbury but will now have to wait until May 1 to do so.  CUA will still travel to Juniata on Saturday, March 26 for a doubleheader with the Eagles, beginning at 1 p.m.

CUA is 8-7 overall this season and will be opening its 2011 Landmark Conference schedule at Juniata.  The Cardinals were last in action on Monday, March 21 when they split a doubleheader at Stevenson.
