CUA softball program to host prospect camp on Sept. 26 August 23, 2010 The Catholic University softball program will host a prospect camp on Sunday, September 26th at the DuFour Athletic Center. Head coach Bruce McConkey will be joined by his assistant coaches and student-athletes as they provide instruction to help improve each players’ fundamental skills and increase their understanding of the game.

CUA Athletes Earn Landmark Honor Roll Accolades June 14, 2010 The Landmark Conference announced Monday that 440 student-athletes from all eight institutions have received Academic Honor Roll awards for their work in the classroom this spring.

Softball Earns Four All-Conference Nods; Rizzi Named to Second Team All-Region May 16, 2010 Four members of the Catholic University softball team were named All-Conference selections, the Landmark Conference announced this week. Sophomore Megan Rizzi earned First Team accolades, while Lynn Brown, Taylor Stockinger, and Tracey Scanlon were all named to the Second Team.

Each year, a non-profit organization called Wreaths Across America honors fallen U.S. veterans by placing over 100,000 wreathes in more than 300 locations nationwide. The group preaches one message: “Remember the fallen; Honor those who serve; Teach our children the value of freedom.”

Tull Honored as Hometown Hero for Swift Water Rescue
While most NCAA football players can often be found lifting weights or downing powdery protein shakes, Catholic University of America sophomore John Tull discovered another way to spend his offseason. The Pennsylvania native has worked as a volunteer firefighter for the last five years for the Middletown Fire Company in Media, Pa.
