WASHINGTON – For the third time this season, Caleb Capozella has been named the Landmark Conference Male Swimmer of the Week, it was announced on Monday. The sophomore standout captured three individual events on Saturday in CUA's meet at Randolph-Macon.

Capozella earned first place finishes in the 100 backstroke (54.89), 200 backstroke (1:59.17) and the 200 IM (2:00.89) over the weekend.  He was one of two Cardinals to earn first place finishes on the men's side, along with Dominic Grillo, who won the 50 free.

Capozella also won the conference's weekly award on October 31 and November 7 of this season.

The Cardinals are off this week before returning to action on February 10 at the 2012 Landmark Conference championship.  Action will take place on the campus of Marywood University and concludes on Sunday, February 12.
