Wisler named Landmark Conference Swimmer of the Week

WASHINGTON – Sophomore Julia Wisler was named the Landmark Conference Female Swimmer of the Week on Monday, after winning two individual races vs. conference foe Scranton over the weekend.  This marks the first time in her career that Wisler received the weekly award.

Wisler was able to win two meets this past weekend, taking first in the 50 free in 25.68 seconds and the 100 free in 56.57 seconds.

Wisler then helped CUA place second in two relay events, including the 200-yard medley relay (1:59.50) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:50.50).

CUA is back in action on Saturday, January 19 when the Cardinals travel to Washington and Lee to face the Generals, as well as Marymount.  Start time is set for 1 p.m.
