1995-96 Season

Season in Review

After winning the CAC swimming championship the previous two seasons, the 1995-96 team finished second to Mary Washington and was ranked fifth in the Middle Atlantic Region. Senior Brent Raue and junior John Cooper each qualified for the NCAA Division III swimming championships. Raue, an All-American in the 100 freestyle last year, qualified for the third consecutive year in the 50 and 100 freestyle, while Cooper made it in the 100 and 200 backstroke. Cooper finished 15th in the 200 backstroke and made All-American in the event. Junior Josh Davies won a conference title in the 400 individual medley.
