WASHINGTON - Catholic fell to 2-3 after a 135-67 loss to Washington & Lee on Saturday afternoon. The Generals took firsts in nine of the 11 events to claim the win. The Cardinals had two individual winners as junior Paul Ojeda (Willow Grove, Pa./Upper Moreland) won the 50 free and freshman Jim Haggerty (Delran, N.J./Holy Cross) was first in the 200 free.

W&L's Patrick Frankfort won two events claiming the 200 IM and 500 free. Frankfort was also a part of the 400 medley relay team that claimed first place.

The Cardinals return to action on Saturday, Jan. 19, as they host Goucher in a CAC meet at 1 p.m.
