Horstmann swims to individual title

Glassboro, N.J. - The Catholic University Men's Swim team finished in 8th place at the 2002 East Coast Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships hosted by Rowan University.

Jim Horstmann (Springfield, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) became the first CUA swimmer to capture an individual ECAC championship as the sophomore won the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:00.41.

The host Profs claimed the overall title as 16 schools competed.
