WASHINGTON- CUA's men's and women's swim teams fell to the visiting Salisbury University Saturday afternoon by scores of 145-58, and 108-97, respectively.

The women's squad earned a number of top finishes for the Cardinals, including two for junior Lisa Brooks. Brooks earned first in the 100 Yard Breaststroke and 200 Yard IM. Teammate Rose Buckley nabbed 9 points for the Cardinals by finishing first in the 100 Yard Freestyle.

Helene Nicoletti and Kristen Gunn rounded out the individual top performances by earning first place finishes in the 50 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Breaststroke, respectively. The relay team of Brooks, Gunn, Nicoletti, and Rachel Berry also grabbed first in 400 Yard Medley Relay.

On the men's side, Paul McGee and Kevin Cravedi garnered a 9 points apiece for first place finishes for the Cardinals. McGee finished first in the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 58.87, while Cravedi grabbed first place in the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 56.54.

The relay team of McGee, Cravedi, Luke Miller and Brendan Reilly rouned out the highest finishes for the Cardinals, earning second in the 400 Yard Medley relay with a time of 3:52.60.

CUA will look to compete in the Landmark Conference Meet on Saturday, February 12, 2010 at USMMA.
