McGlynn Named Landmark Athlete of the Week
Senior captain led Cards to 3-0 conference start

WASHINGTON - Catholic University senior volleyball player Emily McGlynn (Tallahassee, Fla./Leon) has been named the Landmark Conference Volleyball Player of the Week.  McGlynn, a four-year starting setter for the Cards, helped CUA to a 3-0 record over this past weekend's conference play.  CUA was 4-0 for the week which included a three-game victory over Hood.

McGlynn averaged 12.18 assists per game for the week, with her high of 42 assists coming as the Cardinals topped Scranton 3-1 in its final match at the Land­mark event. McGlynn topped 30 assists in three of the matches on the week and helped Catholic hit .243 or better as a team in three matches. She also contributed 19 service aces including three matches with five aces. She added 14 digs, six kills and five blocks over the course of the week to help Catholic sit in second place in the Landmark standings.

The Cardinals will face Randolph-Macon College tonight at 7 p.m., at the DuFour Center.
