 Landmark Announces Fall All-Academic Team The Landmark Conference has announced that 32 student-athletes have been honored with selection to the 2007 Fall Landmark All-Academic Team. Two male and two female athletes from each of the eight Landmark institutions were selected for the team which honors athletes who have excelled athletically and academically. Nominees could compete in any of the Landmark fall sports and must be a sophomore or older with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. [MORE]

 The Catholic University of America volleyball squad (20-14, 5-1 Landmark) has placed two players on the All-Landmark Conference team which was released Wednesday afternoon. Additionally, the CUA coaches were named the Landmark Staff of the Year by their colleagues after taking the Cardinals from the fifth spot in the preseason poll to the second seed in the tournament.  The Catholic University volleyball squad (20-15) dropped a tough 3-0 match the University of Scranton Royals (25-10) Wednesday evening at the DuFour Center. The second-seeded Cardinals had defeated Scranton earlier this season in conference play but couldn’t pull out the win at home. [MORE]
