Donohue to appear on Hoopsville on Thursday evening

WASHINGTON – One day after leading CUA to its first appearance in the Landmark Conference championship game, Cardinals Head Coach Matt Donohue will appear on's Hoopsville on Thursday evening.  Donohue is scheduled to speak with host Dave McHugh at 8:15 p.m.

Hoopsville is's bi-weekly internet talk show that centers on Division III men's and women's basketball.  Fans can listen to Donohue's interview here.

CUA defeated Scranton 47-40 on Wednesday evening in the semifinals of the Landmark Conference Tournament.  The win tied the school record for single season victories with 21 and propelled the Cardinals into their first conference championship game.  CUA also became the first team in Landmark history to win a road playoff game.

Donohue and the Cardinals will look for their first conference championship on Saturday afternoon when they head to Huntingdon, Pa. to face the Juniata Eagles.  Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
