No. 12/13 Cardinals maintain No. 2 regional ranking
WASHINGTON – No. 12/13 CUA maintained its No. 2 ranking in
the latest NCAA regional
rankings, released on Wednesday. The Cardinals are 22-1 overall
and 11-1 in the Landmark Conference, with both win marks tying the
school record set just last season.
19 of CUA’s 22 wins have come within the Atlantic Region,
including victories over ranked foes Marymount, William Paterson
and York.
Regional ranking is one of the criteria used for selection and
seeding purposes for the NCAA Tournament. For more information on

CUA is nationally ranked in two polls, checking in at No. 12 in
the USA
Today Coaches Poll and No. 13 in the D3Hoops.com
poll.
No. 12/13 CUA returns to action on Wednesday evening when the Cardinals
play host to Goucher College. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
