WASHINGTON - The Catholic women's basketball team welcomes Shorewomen of Washington College on Saturday, Dec.14 at 5 p.m. in the DuFour Athletic Center on the Franny Murray Court.
THE LAST TIME THEY MET (12/15/2012): The Cardinals defeated the Shorewomen 64-53 in Chestertown, Md., to improve to 7-0. Emily Grabiak led the way for CUA with a double-double of 11 points and 10 assists. Latisha Pledger pulled down 13 rebounds for Washington, while Erin Fitzgerald had 10 points.
THE SERIES: Dating back to the 2010-11 season, the series is tied a 2-2. Each team's two wins have come on the road, as CUA is looking to post its first home victory over Washington.
