Grabiak Earns Honorable Mention All-American Laurels

WASHINGTON - Senior Emily Grabiak's postseason awards continue to roll in, this time being named Honorable Mention All-American by D3Hoops.com.

Grabiak was named First Team All-Region a week ago and is the only play to represent the Landmark on the All-American Teams.

The Haddonfield, N.J., native has won numerous accolades this season including:

  • Most Outstanding Player, ECAC South Tournament
  • Most Valuable Player, CUA-Fairfield Inn Washington DC Holiday Tournament
  • Landmark Conference Player of the Year
  • First Team All-Landmark
  • Landmark Player of the Week (1/6, 1/13, 1/20, 2/17)
  • ECAC Player of the Week (1/14)
  • D3Hoops.com Team of the Week (1/14, 2/18)

This year, Grabiak led the team in scoring (16.8 per game), rebounding (9.5), assists (4.5), steals (3.0) and recorded 14 double-doubles on the year. For her career, Grabiak started 101 of 114 games and helped Catholic to a 90-24 record including a 45-11 mark in conference. With Grabiak as the primary ball handler, the Cardinals won back-to-back Landmark Conference Championships in 2012 and 2013. She ranks 12th all-time with 1,118 career points and added 740 rebounds, 446 assists, and 259 steals.
