WASHINGTON – Catholic University Head Women's Basketball Coach Matt Donohue will host his annual one-day CUA Women's Basketball Elite Camp on Saturday, July 19.
The one-day intensive basketball camp is for prospective student-athletes, who will enter the 10th, 11th and 12th grade in the fall of 2014. Participants will take in a full day of collegiate-level practice, film breakdown and strength training at the DuFour Athletic Center. The camp counselors will facilitate specific drills to evaluate strengths and identify areas for improvement. Donohue and his assistant coaches will wrap up the camp with a campus tour.
At the end of the elite camp, participants will walk away with a true "day in the life" experience of a collegiate student-athlete, a better understanding of the X's and O's of college basketball and develop a higher basketball IQ, an exclusive CUA Cardinals summer workout packet, and the opportunity to play along side top high school student-athletes from across the country, who also aspire to play at the collegiate level.
The CUA Women's Basketball Elite Camp runs from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2014. The cost of the camp is $95.00 with a $50 deposit due by Thursday, June 19, 2014. Please make all checks payable to CARDINAL BASKETBALL ACADEMY. All athletes will receive a Catholic University of America reversible jersey for the duration of the camp, please bring you basketball shoes. You can bring your own lunch or purchase lunch through the camp store.
