Cardinals Fall, 81-67, to Greyhounds on the Road

Bethlehem, Pa. - The Catholic University of America women's basketball team dropped their Landmark Conference weekend match up, 81-67, at Moravian College on Saturday afternoon.

The loss bring the Lady Cards to 1-1 in the  conference and 2-4 overall while the Greyhounds advance to 8-1 for the season, 2-0 in the Landmark.

Junior Michelle DeSantis put up at team high 11 points and four assists for Catholic while grabbing six rebounds. Senior Kristen Walheim recorded 10 points for the Lady Cardinals while pulling down six rebounds.

CUA head coach Matt Donohue utilized nine reserves who totaled 35 points thought the contest. Sophomore Emma Weiss entered the game for Catholic putting up nine points while junior Melissa Errico scored eight and grabbed a team high seven boards. Junior Nicole Tollevsen and sophomore Payton Smith each came on to the hardwood, notching seven points a piece for the Lady Cards.

Catholic will continue its 2015 campaign on Friday, December 11, when the Cardinals take on Delaware Valley during the Gallaudet Tournament at 4 p.m.
