The Jamie Lynn Roberts – Fairfield Inn Holiday Tournament is played in memory of former Catholic women's basketball assistant coach Jamie Roberts.

Jamie Roberts was a valued and impactful leader at The Catholic University of America.  She was a three-sport standout at St. Mary's College of Maryland '11 who then became a Catholic women's basketball assistant coach and the athletic communications assistant. Jamie tragically lost her life while biking across the country for cancer during the summer of 2014.

Jamie made it her mission to positively impact the lives and well-being of all whom she came into contact with. Donning her trademark smile, endearing selflessness, and wonderfully magnetic personality Jamie was quick to lend a hand to any, and all, in need.  Jamie remains today, and will forever remain, a loyal teammate, trusted mentor, esteemed colleague and treasured friend!
