Arlington, Va.- Marymount handed Catholic it's worst loss of the season in a 80-46 Saint win Saturday afternoon in a Capital Athletic Conference game. Christine Lingenfelder scored a game-high 19 points for the Saints.
Catholic managed to shoot 24% from the floor as CUA was outrebounded 58-37.
Freshman Anne Maguire was the only Cardinal in double figures as she scored 12 points off the bench.
A 15-0 run midway through the first half by the Saints capped off by Ashlee Courter's three-pointer opened up a one-point game. Courter finished with 18 points.
The Saints (10-4, 4-0 CAC) led 45-23 at the break and used a 10-0 run to open the second half to increase their lead.
After scoring 28 points on Wednesday against Mary Washington, freshman Lindsay DiRomualdo was just 3-of-16 from the floor, finishing with eight points.
Catholic (6-7, 2-2 CAC) takes on St. Mary's on Wednesday in St. Mary's City, Md. at 6 p.m.
