SALISBURY, Md. - Salisbury's Amy Campion scored a game-high 25 points and Gen Olds added 23 points to hand Catholic a 91-58 loss in a Capital Athletic Conference matchup. Campion added 13 rebounds and dished out eight assists.
Freshman Gloria Schnepp tallied a team-high and season-high 16 points off the bench while sister Carol netted 15 points.
The Sea Gulls (17-3, 9-0 CAC) used a 10-0 run midway through the first to open up a 17-12 lead. Salisbury would go into the half up 44-26 on the strength of 43% shooting from the floor in the first stanza.
Catholic (8-11, 4-5 CAC) could only get as close as 51-36 with 16:04 to play before Salisbury raced to a 9-0 lead and a 14-4 run to close out the game.
Both Schnepps were the only Cardinals in double figures. Laura Kaye grabbed a team-high 10 boards and added two blocks while Lindsay DiRomualdo chipped in eight points, six caroms, and five assists.
For the game CUA was 19-of-55 shooting while Salisbury was 31-of-74.
Catholic returns to action on Saturday as they host Marymount at the DuFour Center at 2 p.m.
