Women's Basketball Falls to Drew, 64-61

MADISON, N.J.-- Brenda Kramer scored 14 points and Dana
Coronato sank two free throws with 3.8 seconds to go to lift Drew
University to a 64-61 victory over Catholic University at Baldwin
Gymnasium on Friday night.
Jessica DelVecchio added 12 points for the Rangers (12-10, 3-9
Landmark Conference). The Cardinals lost their fifth straight to
fall to 12-9 (4-6).
Brianna Peterson posted a double-double with 19 points and 10
rebounds for CUA, which led 39-36 at halftime. Jenny McGann chipped
in 11 points and Kate Robinson had nine points and six boards.
Brielle Crites corralled nine rebounds.
After Coronato (five points) hit her free throws to make it 63-61,
the Cards threw the ball out of bounds. Following a free throw by
Kramer, CUA failed to get off a shot.
The Cardinals play at the United States Merchant Marine Academy on
Saturday at 2 p.m.
