In addition to her coaching duties, Williams is in her third season as a coach for the women’s basketball program, and was named associate head coach in 2014.

Williams began her time at CUA in 2012, as an admissions counselor for the 2012-13 academic year and an assistant women’s basketball coach.

Prior to joining CUA, Williams was the head coach of Thiel College in Greenville, Pa., for three seasons.  While at Thiel, Williams’ Tomcats saw continued growth during her tenure, highlighted by the 2011-12 squad that posted the highest win total for the Tomcats in the Presidents Athletic Conference (8) since the 1987-88 season.

Prior to her stint at Thiel, Williams spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Wesleyan University in Middleton, Conn. During her time with the Cardinals, Williams was responsible for recruiting and scouting while assisting with administrative and on-court duties. Additionally, Williams also spent three years (2004-07) as an assistant coach at Division I Colgate University where she assisted with player development, practice and game planning, coordinated the team’s conditioning program, and handled aspects of recruiting and scouting activities.

A 2004 graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Williams was a four-year starter and two-year captain for the Spartans and was named All-University Athletic Conference (UAA) as well as Academic All-UAA on three occasions. A 1000-point scorer during her career, she was named the college's female athlete of the year as a senior and served as chairperson of the Athletic Captains' Council.
