O'Neill Named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week

WASHINGTON- Catholic University Women's Lacrosse senior defender Caitlin O'Neill (Germantown, Md./ Holy Child) has been named the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Defender of the Week. This week, the Cards held their two opponents to fewer than 10 goals, beating Marymount 18-9 and Landmark Conference rival Scranton 18-5. 

O'Neill produced four ground balls, four draw controls and three caused turnovers. She notched four goals in two games to lead CUA to its two wins this week. 

For the season, O'Neill produced 36 ground balls, 38 draw controls and 20 caused turnovers. On the offensive side, she has nine goals and four assists. 

The Cardinals will close up their season with Landmark Conference rival Drew University Saturday at 12 p.m.
